The Australian X-ray Analytical Association (AXAA) Inc. was formed around 1968. The association seeks to provide a forum for technical meetings, discussion and information interchange between workers in the fields of x-ray analysis, including:

  • x-ray diffraction;
  • x-ray fluorescence
  • synchrotron radiation and neutron scattering in industry

The Association is comprised of a diverse group of scientists and technologists employed in mining, manufacturing industries, research and educational organisations as well as instrument manufacturers throughout Australia and the Asia/Pacific region.
